Helping a parent through Medicare can feel like a second job. This checklist makes the conversation easier — and gentler.
- Make a list of every prescription with dosage and pharmacy.
- Note every doctor and specialist your parent sees.
- Ask about transportation, meal, and over-the-counter benefits.
- Bring current insurance cards and the red, white, and blue Medicare card.
- Decide together how decisions will be made — and write it down.
